CHANDLERS HELPS FUND CHILDREN'S FARM
We celebrated the completion of Chailey Heritage Foundation's Patchwork Farm project by donating our latest fundraising efforts to Alex Boud (Farm coordinator) and Jenny Hanraads (Development Manager at Chailey Heritage Foundation). The money donated is part of Chandlers Building Supplies ongoing support of Chailey Heritage Foundation.
As one of the main supporters of this pioneering outdoor learning project for young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs, we not only donated in excess of £4,500 in cash but also with the help of some of our generous suppliers provided product and equipment for the build for free or at cost price.
Sue McKinney, Marketing Manager said: "We are a [local] family-owned builders merchants and we genuinely care about our community. It is great to support such a marvelous charity that does amazing work with children from a vast catchment area. We are thrilled to see the tremendous end result that is Patchwork Farm."
Jenny Hanraads of Chailey Heritage Foundations said: "Chandlers Building Supplies is a committed supporter of us and we are very grateful for all its support. Patchwork Farm has been a long-term vision and will make a huge difference to the children we support. We are thrilled to have achieved what we have and none of this would have be possible without the support of donors like Chandlers Builders Suppliers."
Our support of Chailey Heritage continues but it has been great to see this latest initiative come to life.
