Help and guidance for MVHR systems

One of the benefits of modern energy efficient houses is that they are more airtight than older buildings.  Due to this, they have to follow specifications for air-tightness in building regulations.

To aid this, modern homes are sometimes fitted with a Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system, also known as a whole house ventilation system.  The image highlights how these work.

If you are working on a housing development or project, we are able to assist in the training, design and onsite support for MVHR systems. Contact our Building Innovation Centre for more information on 01273 409051.
