Places available on sustainable building courses

We're inviting tradesmen and women to attend our sustainability training sessions that are taking place in April and May.

Being held at the Sustainable Building Solutions Centre in our Lewes branch, the first course, which is free, takes place on Wednesday 22nd April between 10am and 1pm.  It will offer training on Porotherm, the unique clay block walling system. Those on the course will receive an overview of the benefits of this sustainable product, see a demonstration of how the blocks fit together and receive hands-on practical tuition.

Then on Thursday 7th May between 8.30am and 4pm, Caparol will be leading their Approved Installer Course for External Wall Insulation.  There is a fee of £99 for this full day course, but this fee will be deducted from a first Caparol order of £1,000.

Phil Barnard, Head of Sustainability at Chandlers, commented, "These courses are suitable for anyone working in the trade, or designers and architects who would like to find out a bit more about the benefits of new sustainable building products.  At Chandlers we like to show our customers how products work, particularly those that are new or revolutionary, and we're delighted to be working with Porotherm and Caparol to provide these courses."

Those interested in attending one, or both, of the courses can find our more information or reserve a place by contacting Chandlers on 01273 409051.
