Community support for local care homes and hospices
Following the recent launch of our 'Chandlers in the Community' project, we're now asking care homes and hospices to get in contact and tell us how we can be of support.
The campaign sees us pledging to help various groups in the area, whether that's by way of an injection of cash to aid the purchase of a piece of equipment, sponsorship or the donation of building materials to help homes and hospices complete projects that they wouldn't have otherwise been able to do.
Richard Skinner, Commercial Director at Chandlers, commented, "We launched Chandlers in the Community in February and we received a fantastic response from groups that work with those that have a disability. We are just finalising the details and hoping to support quite a few of the groups that applied. Now we're asking for care homes and hospices to get in contact and we're expecting a similar response."
Care homes and hospices can nominate themselves by contacting us and explaining how we can offer support.
Nominations can be made by emailing Chandlers@pmwcom.co.uk and putting Chandlers in the Community in the subject box, or by sending a letter to Chandlers in the Community, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9HP. The closing date for nominations is Monday 11th May.
Further call outs will be made in the months to come to animal welfare groups, projects that focus on outdoor spaces and charities, inviting them to get involved too.
