Thanks for helping with our frundraising
We would like to thank everyone who has helped us to so far raise £12,000 as part of our charity appeal.
The Chandlers £50k Challenge launched at the beginning of year and is aiming to raise £50,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in honour of our employee Rob Sadler, a Cystic Fibrosis Sufferer himself. Rob is not only celebrating 30 years of Chandlers' employment this year, but more significantly, he turns 50 in December; those with Cystic Fibrosis are not expected to live beyond their 30s.
Our staff, customers and branches local communities have all supported the campaign and have taken part in many fundraising events from sponsored runs, football matches and charity golf days to barn dances, silent auctions and cricket matches.
But, it is never too late to get involved. Whether a company wants to put on their own fundraising event or they are able to donate a prize for the silent auction, we would love to hear from them.
Richard Skinner, Commercial Director at Chandlers said, "A big thank you to everyone who has made a contribution to any of the fundraising activities that have taken place so far. Although we are focusing on raising money with our colleague Rob in mind, Cystic Fibrosis is a condition that affects the lives of families across the country, so any money raised goes to a great cause."
